The position includes about 50% research and in addition teaching, supervision and administration. The current research in sustainability science includes both theory and methodology and empirical research. Teaching will be mainly in the Masters program LUMES (www.lumes.lu.se). The position may also include assignments as director of studies.
A person who holds a doctorate or a qualification equivalent to a doctorate shall be qualified for appointment as an associate senior lecturer. Priority should be given to candidates who have completed their degree no more than 7 years before the last date for application.
Doctorate in sustainability science is considered an additional qualification and secondarily in other relevant subject. Successful candidates should conduct high-quality research within the research field of sustainability science and relevant interdisciplinary width.
Experience of international cooperation and networking as well as documented good interpersonal skills are a plus. Demonstrated teaching skills and a broad teaching experience, preferably related to the research topic, is an advantage. Ability to develop and implement interdisciplinary teaching is an advantage. Supervision of master’s students or equivalent is also a plus.
